Partial Dentures Partial dentures are used to replace missing teeth and are held in place by the existing teeth. Partials help restore aesthetics and will assist in your daily activities. Eating will come easier with the replacements, but after practice. The partial will also help stabilize the existing teeth from drifting and will decrease the need to change the bite. Partial dentures are custom fabricated from the molds that will need to be taken of your jaw and teeth. Once created, the partials then need to be retrofitted to your jaw, and existing teeth to create the support that they need. Either type of procedure to replace missing teeth will need extensive dental examination and work to best fit your physiology.
